The procedure itself usually takes four to eight hours under local anaesthesia. 1. Assessment: is a transplant the right step?
The assessment decides whether surgery makes sense at all. The doctor looks at how much stable donor hair you have, how far the loss has progressed on the Norwood scale, and whether the loss is still active. When loss is active, medical treatment may be recommended before, or instead of, a transplant.

2. The plan and the quote
- Technique. FUE, DHI or Sapphire FUE, chosen for your donor area and the zones being treated. All treatments.

3. The procedure day
Most patients stay awake throughout. The scalp is numbed with local anaesthesia, grafts are extracted from the back and sides of the head, and they are then implanted into the planned zones. 4. The first two weeks

5. The shedding phase
